Storage of Equipment

All Anglewest Ltd's materials are kept at our yards in Cookham. We have large stocks of traditional Tube & Fittings, Cuplok System Scaffold, Haki Stair Systems and Boulton Temporary Roof. The equipment is palletised for easy access for loading and unloading, distribution to site and for safety. The component parts are checked and serviced prior to delivery and upon collection by our yard team under the supervision of our yard manager; any damaged equipment is removed from use immediately.

Transport
Our fleet of vehicles carry out delivery and collection to and from sites. The fleet consists of Artics with trailers, rigid lorries and vans. The lorries have lorry mounted cranes ‘Atlas', ‘Hiab' or similar. All loads are prepared for loading and off loading using site cranes, forklift trucks or lorry mounted cranes for ease and efficiency. All our transport is maintained in accordance with the guidelines set down by the ‘The Ministry of Transport'. All Anglewest Ltd's delivery vehicles undergo monthly PMI inspections, regular manufacturer's servicing and daily inspections carried out by each driver to check and record roadworthiness of the vehicle. We hold all the correct documentation including an operator's licence, exemption permits to the London Boroughs scheme etc.

Identification
All our tube, fittings and system scaffolds are ramped or embossed with either "property of Anglewest Ltd" or "AWL". Our boards and timber ladders are branded with Anglewest Ltd. All equipment is marked with our security paint Marine Blue RAL 5002.

Suppliers
Anglewest Ltd has a good relationship with all it's suppliers. We purchase tube, Cuplok, Haki and ancillary components off the shelf. However our boards and fittings are manufactured to order to our stringent specification complete with identification.

Tube & Fittings
Large stocks of tubes & fittings are used by Anglewest Ltd along with a number of ancillary components. Tube is still the most common material used and is currently the most versatile. Our fittings are generally ‘drop forged' zinc coated with sheradised nuts and bolts; this guarantees strength and ease of maintenance.

Cuplok System
Cuplok is Anglewest Ltd's preferred system scaffold and is probably the world's most widely used system scaffold. Cuplok was designed to meet all site needs: speed of assembly, versatility of application, low maintenance and it combines well with tube, fittings, boards and other ancillary scaffold equipment. We have stocks available which can be supplemented at a moment's notice with hired in materials from major suppliers.

Haki Stair System
Anglewest Ltd hold stocks of this particular stair system. They are now on many sites the required means of access and egress for site personnel as climbing ladders with equipment is now prohibited. The Haki stair with multiple landing levels allows up to 60 men and their equipment to be used at any one time. The Haki staircase is much quicker to erect than a traditional timber tread and tubular staircase and also it can combine well with tube and fittings or other system scaffolds. In certain applications the Haki staircase can be retained as a permanent emergency exit.

Boulton Temporary Roof
With ever increasing demands to reduce contract times this cassette type roof offers the Contractor speed of erection, single spans of up to 40m and more without intermediate support (which is greater than the traditional CI sheet temporary roof) and better water tightness. The roof is very versatile and fully compatible with both traditional tube and fitting scaffolds and system scaffolds. We are increasing our stocks of this roof system.
