It is
the policy of Anglewest Ltd that all
reasonably practicable steps will be taken to provide safe and healthy
working conditions, and that the health, safety and welfare of employees,
contractors, suppliers and members of the general public are to
be protected at all times.

Management, supervisory staff and any other employee who authorises work to be carried out at any time, are responsible for ensuring that adequate health, safety and welfare facilities are made available and implemented.
The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all relevant Regulations are to be complied with at all times and all employees should contribute towards making work areas as safe as possible by continually appraising working practices and ensuring that the safest possible methods are adopted.
All employees and contractors are expected to provide and maintain safe work places and working environments, safe systems and methods of work, without risks to themselves or others and to promote high standards of health, safety and welfare.
The company's Safety Manager will monitor the operation of the Policy.
Instruction and information
on health, safety and welfare matters are contained in the company's
Health & Safety manual. Each department and site officer must
retain a copy of the manual for the information of those who work
on company premises and sites.
The Directors
of Anglewest Ltd have approved this
policy. The Directors have been appointed to have responsibility
for health, safety and welfare and reference should be made to them
in the event of any difficulty arising in the implementation of
this Policy. It is the duty of everyone to adhere strictly to the
Policy at all times.

Responsibility/Qualifications for Health & Safety Our Contracts Director holds a NEBOSH qualification in Health & Safety.
Site Inspections
We inspect the sites and our equipment. Each site is inspected once a month, as a minimum.
Representation in the Workplace Each group of our workforce is represented at our quarterly Health & Safety meetings, with the largest group (site scaffolders) being represented by a different employee at each meeting.

Environmental Policy
Anglewest
Ltd, in carrying out their operations,
recognise the importance of maintaining its operations to ensure
the safety of the environment. The company recognises that effective
management of our environment makes good business sense and will
be a fundamental and integral part of our business strategy.
To ensure we achieve these standards procedures will be implemented to include the following:

Being aware of how our activities impact upon the environment and seek to minimise adverse effects by means of the best available techniques, not entailing excessive cost, through a policy of health and safety improvement in the workplace, control of pollution and care for the local environment. |

Conserving the use of resources, particularly
those which are scarce or non renewable. |

to avoid waste and encourage conservation, re-use and recycling, e.g. chipping composting and waste disposal management, etc.; |

All materials used are made from sustainable resources. Our suppliers confirm that our materials do not contain the following chemical substances:
